Vintage Sewing Machine Servicing and clinics

If you prefer to have your vintage sewing machine professionally serviced, I offer full maintenance and cleaning. Pricing starts at $75, depending on the machine’s condition and any additional work required. I will only take select machines and when I am able to complete the work quickly (usually within 1-2 days). I complete a free 15 minute assessment of a machine before I take them on.  Sometimes, I even solve your issue in the first 15 minutes!!!

I periodically offer in-person seminars that teach you how to maintain your own vintage sewing machine. You’ll need basic tools, materials, and a vintage machine. If you don’t have one, a loaner may be available.

Please note: these are not repair clinics. You will work on your own machine with guidance from facilitators. We can help with basic checks and minor fixes, but major repairs—including electrical, motor, or component work—are not performed. If your machine needs these repairs, please visit a qualified technician beforehand.

If you can’t attend a group seminar, you may book a private 2-hour session where you’ll learn to maintain your vintage (pre-1980) machine. Machines must be in good condition with no missing parts or electrical issues.
